- אֵגֹורִי, אֵיגֹורִי,m. (v. אֵגֹור, אֲגֹורָה) fit for storage, of good quality. Kel. XVII, 8 the olive (as a size standard) … neither large nor small, but of medium size, זה א׳ which is the kind called egori. Ber.39a; Y.Bicc.I, 63d (etymol. explan.); v. אִבְרֹוסִי. Yalk. Deut. 851 זית א׳. Gen. R. s. 91, end מור אי׳ myrrh fit for storage.Pl. אֵגֹורִין Num. R. s. 4 beg. חטים אגודיהן, read אֵגֹורִין הם are all storage wheat (opp. טינופת). Cmp. אגרו.
